Built for the Music Industry

Support that understands your world and your work.

Mental Health Therapy for Musicians and Creative Professionals

Individual therapy sessions are designed for musicians, performers, filmmakers, and other creative professionals. Whether you are managing anxiety, burnout, depression, relationship stress, or just feeling stuck, this is a space to reconnect with yourself.
Sessions use evidence-based approaches, including polyvagal theory (the science of feeling safe), trauma-informed care, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you shift unhelpful patterns and build lasting support. You will work with a licensed therapist who understands the unique demands of creative work and meets you where you are.
Therapy is available to clients located in Colorado only. If you are outside Colorado, see our Finding a Therapist page for additional options.

Group Therapy for Musicians and the Music Industry

Group Therapy for Musicians and Creative Professionals

Group therapy is a powerful way to feel seen, supported, and connected with others who understand your world. Musician Therapy Studio is offering two unique online groups for creative professionals across Colorado:

1. Creative Professionals Group
Designed for musicians, filmmakers, and other creative professionals, this group provides a space to share experiences, build skills, and receive emotional support from peers who truly get the challenges of creative work.

2. Tour Success Group
Focused on the unique pressures of touring, this group is for performers, road crew, and other professionals navigating life on the road. Discussions cover stress management, burnout prevention, performance anxiety, and practical strategies for staying grounded while touring.

All groups are small, therapist-led, and designed for real conversations and problem solving. Online sessions are available to anyone in Colorado. In-person groups will be offered in Denver or Boulder as demand grows.

Therapy for the Stress and Emotional Challenges of Touring

Tour-focused therapy is designed to support your mental health before, during, and after life on the road. Sessions provide a space to process past experiences, identify recurring stressors, and strengthen coping strategies that help you stay grounded.

Therapy can also focus on setting realistic expectations, preparing for triggers, and creating a plan to manage the emotional ups and downs of touring. The goal is to help you stay connected to yourself, your creativity, and your music while reducing the impact of burnout, anxiety, or isolation that often comes with life on tour.

These sessions are therapeutic and are not intended as performance coaching or career advice. Sessions are available to clients located in Colorado only.
